Featured Artists on the Catholic Artist Directory are distinguished Catholic worship leaders, musicians, craftsmen, and sacred artists who have been recognized for their known Catholic identity, public reputation, and artistic giftedness. They are listed on this platform so that parishes, dioceses, ministries, and institutions within the Church can find their management company or label and engage them through the appropriate professional channels.
Featured Artists do not pay for their placement on the Catholic Artist Directory. Their presence on this platform is not a paid sponsorship or advertising arrangement. They are added solely on the basis of their recognized Catholic status, artistic excellence, and the value they bring to the Church community.
Featured Artists are added by the Catholic Artist Directory verification team. The team evaluates potential artists based on:
Featured Artists are not required to submit an application. They are automatically considered and added by the verification team as part of our mission to connect the Church with the finest Catholic artists working today.
Featured Artists receive a gold checkmark on their profile, distinguishing them from independent verified artists (who receive a blue checkmark). This designation helps institutions identify artists who are typically managed by a label, management company, or agency and who may be engaged through those professional channels.
The gold checkmark is not a ranking or endorsement of artistic quality over other verified artists. It simply indicates that the artist has been featured by the verification team and that their primary booking channel is through their management or label.
Featured Artists are listed with their management company or label contact information so that institutions can hire them through the proper professional channels. This typically includes:
We do not facilitate direct booking of Featured Artists outside of their management channels, as most Featured Artists are contractually represented by a label or management company.
There is no way to reach out and request to become a Featured Artist. We do not process requests for Featured Artist badges or profiles - no exceptions. Only our verification team determines Featured Artist designations. By reaching out to request Featured Artist status, you actually risk your account being restricted to Verified Artist status or being removed from the platform entirely. We do not consider labels, management companies, or any third parties reaching out on behalf of an artist for Featured Artist consideration.
The only way to become a Featured Artist is through our verification team discerning it prayerfully. The team considers criteria such as an artist’s popularity on the platform as a verified blue-check artist, what the Holy Spirit is guiding, and the needs of the Church community. Featured Artist designations are made through discernment, not through solicitation.
